I joined Head Resourcing in 2005 as a Resourcer and have been heading up the Contract Solutions team since 2013. With a wealth of experience in leading strategic, national and SME accounts, I’ve now spent 15 years recruiting and working with IT, Change and Digital contractors at every level. In that time I have worked across the vast majority of our clients, trying to ensure that we meet the high standards of customer service our clients and candidates have learned to expect from us.
Whilst I really enjoy engaging with our clients and candidates, it is my colleagues across both the team and the company that keep me positive, engaged and bouncing into work, raring to go each day.
In that time I’ve also been married, had two children, moved home twice and learnt that I can’t do everything (replace ‘everything’ with ‘most things’ depending on who you ask), but am never afraid to try new things.
If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be?
A bar overlooking a beach in Menorca with a cold beer in my hand and my wife opposite. If the children had to be there too, it wouldn’t be the end of the world…
What was your dream job when you were younger?
As an avid reader, my dream job when I was younger was to be a writer. I’ve always enjoyed creative processes and hobbies and thought it would be wonderful to create new worlds for others to explore, as so many authors had done for me.
If we went to happy hour, what would you order?
Lager. Cooking lager. I’m not fussy.
