Project Manager - Legal & Governance Change (Agile)
Location: London
Contract: 6 months
Hybrid Working - 3 days onsite
Daily Rate: £550 Inside IR35

Are you a delivery‑focused Agile Project Manager with strong experience in Legal, Governance, or Financial Services environments? This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving a high‑impact change portfolio within a fast‑paced, regulated business.
We're looking for a structured, pragmatic PM who can balance hands‑on delivery with strong partnership skills - working closely with the Programme Lead to drive forward this year's Legal & Governance book of work.

Role Overview
As the Project Manager, you'll be embedded within Legal & Governance change initiatives, delivering in an Agile environment to ensure outcomes are clear, evidence‑based, and aligned to business priorities.
Your work will span planning, coordination, governance, and delivery - ensuring all change activity is well‑structured, auditable, and aligned to organisational frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape, plan, and manage the delivery of Legal & Governance change initiatives.
  • Maintain delivery plans, milestones, RAID logs, and updates within KeyedIn.
  • Partner with the Programme Lead on governance design, escalation routes, and decision frameworks.
  • Coordinate delivery activity across Legal, Governance, and Technology teams, including managing approvals.
  • Support matter intake, prioritisation, lifecycle processes, and closure standards.
  • Produce MI, reporting packs, and audit‑ready documentation.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven Agile Project Manager with experience working alongside Product Owners/Managers and within Scrum teams.
  • Background in Legal and/or Governance within financial services.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong documentation, analysis, and facilitation capabilities.
  • Highly organised, methodical, and able to pivot quickly in response to changing priorities.
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and promoting process‑level rigour.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and auditability.
  • Confident using Excel and project management tools.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience delivering change within Legal or Governance functions (financial services or regulated industry preferred).
  • Strong understanding of legal lifecycles and operating models.
  • Consulting or advisory background (Big 4 or similar desirable).
  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
  • Trained or familiar with Agile methodologies.
