With clear plans to push past a turnover of £50 million, this appointment will enable Head Resourcing to continue their impressive growth and maximise opportunities in the IT, Digital and Business Change sectors in England.

With offices in Edinburgh and Leeds, Head Resourcing has grown on the back of exceptional customer service, a professional and warm approach to doing business and consistently delivering to its customers’ requirements. The team in Leeds has doubled in size in the last year which reflects the increase in demand for Digital, IT and Business Change resources.

James brings a wealth of experience to the team with over 8 years recruitment experience, 4 of which have been in the IT sector. He said “I was attracted to Head Resourcing as they are a company founded on strong values and morals.  They are open and honest and it’s the first time I feel I have found a company that matches my ideas around recruitment. Having the success Head has had over the years in such demanding markets is extremely rare and something I am excited to be a part of.”

James has been brought in to focus and further develop Head’s Contract Business and will use his knowledge of the Leeds and Yorkshire markets to do so. The office in Leeds has gone through considerable growth over the last 6 months – James joins recent hires Liam Jones and Mike Steel, both of whom join Head with considerable experience and a strong network in the IT market.

As Regional Director of the Leeds office, Jon Musgrave said “We have ambitious growth plans for the Leeds business and growing the team with the right talent is vital to our success. We have a core of highly skilled, ethical consultants and our goal is to be the recruiter of choice for companies across the region by harnessing this experience, with great customer service and an innovative use of technology.  One recent example is the launch of InSite, a digital job specification which provides candidates with a much greater insight into the employer and the role.  It also allows employers to highlight their requirements, environment and working practises in a more candidate friendly way.”

The technology sector is going from strength to strength and accounts for 1.56m jobs across the UK and currently, over 10,000 people work in digital technologies in Leeds, generating more than £3bn in Gross Value Added (GVA).  Digital jobs in the region are predicted to grow at 10 times the rate of non-digital. Leeds has the potential to reposition itself as one of the main digital capitals of Europe.
