Technical Project Manager (Customer Service Platforms) needed for an initial 12-month engagement with our Consultancy client in London. The role will involve up to 2-3-days per week onsite in London and requires a strong Technical Project Manager with a background delivering technology-enabled transformation within regulated Financial Services environments, particularly within Customer functions.

The role will drive outcomes across digital claims journeys, case-management, data and analytics, secure integrations, and customer communications-ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget with traceable governance and measurable benefits for customers.

The role is Inside IR35, and candidates must engage via and FCSA accredited Umbrella Company. Whilst it may be predominantly remote, you may be required 2-3 days per week onsite in London.

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrable Technical Project Management experience, with a track record of delivering projects from inception to closure within Financial Services environments using recognised project delivery methodology, including both Agile & Prince2.
  • Strong technical understanding across software delivery, integrations, data platforms, testing and DevOps concepts; able to challenge and support engineering decisions and non-functional requirements (availability, performance, security etc.).
  • Experience in Customer focussed functions / projects such as Claims, Case-management or Customer-service platforms; CRM/queueing/workflow exposure and secure integrations.
  • Proven Technical Project Management delivery in regulated/public-interest financial services environments, with audit-ready governance, reporting, and vendor oversight.
  • Experience of planning and schedule management using MSP, including milestone planning, dependencies, CPA, baselining and change control.
  • Experience of working with multiple external stakeholders to empower clear and informed decision making.
  • A working knowledge of governance, standards, and controls within project management.
  • Experience of risk management with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and communicating these to all project stakeholders, internal and external alike.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge at senior stakeholder level.
  • Advanced knowledge of Change & Project Management Principles.
