VMware Network Solutions Architect required for our Consultancy client for an initial 3-month engagement to work on VMware NSX-T deployments within complex, largescale client environments.
The role will be predominantly remote with occasional travel to client locations in London and other sites across the UK for workshops. Candidates will also be required to engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella company.
Our Consultancy client requires a strong Network Solutions Architect with extensive VMware NSX-T experience (including switching, routing, firewalling, IDS/IPS and load balancing) who can work on data centre deployments across multiple sites. Candidates should have a strong background in Network Architecture & Design along with strong technical experience, which should also include VMware HCX and Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure).
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable experience as a Network Architect / Network Solutions Architect
- In-depth knowledge and experience of VMware NSX-T
- Experience integrating VMware NSX-T with Cisco ACI
- Knowledge and experience of VMware HCX
- Strong communication skills and consultative approach
Previous experience working within Financial Services environments would be useful and, as mentioned, the roles need to be engaged via FCSA Umbrella and are predominantly remote with expenses paid for pre-approved travel as and when it is required.
