A well-known Retail Client is Scotland is currently seeking an experienced VB.Net Developer to join their team on a short 3-month Contract.
Joining a project to help integrate a new payment provider into their EPOS system, the Contract has been assessed OUTSIDE IR35 but now needs to be based onsite in Scotland (although may have a small degree of flexibility). Rate-Card is reasonably flexible too with my Client looking for strong & experienced candidates with the ability to hit the ground running.
To be successful in this Contract, my Client is seeking Contractors with the following knowledge & experience:
1) Detailed VB.NET knowledge & experience with 1st class programming skills
2) Deep & demonstrable knowledge across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
3) Recent experience in another Client-Facing role
4) Excellent Problem Solving skills with a strong work ethic and high attention to detail
5) Any previous Retail / EPOS / Payments knowledge would be HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS but not essential
