Our Glasgow-based Public Sector Client seeks an experienced Security Architect to join their team in Glasgow. Working as part of a larger team & reporting to the Head of Cyber Security, the successful candidate in this role will be required to effectively translate business objectives & risk management strategies into specific Security Processes & Solutions enabled by security technologies and services.
An initial 8-9 month contract, through until the end of March 2025, our Client is seeking candidate who are available now/at short notice and ideally locally based (with the ability to work in Glasgow each week). To be successful, backgrounds & skill-sets should include:
- Previous experience working in another, hands-on Security Architect Contract
- Experience of development and implementation of Cyber Security Strategies with additional knowledge of ISO27001, Cyber Essentials and GDPR etc
- Previous experience of working closely with IT Suppliers who provide 3rd party solutions
- Industry leading Security/Cyber Certifications will be highly advantageous (CISSP, SSCP, CompTIA Security+ etc)
- Familiarity with the Scottish Public Sector would also be highly advantageous
- As always, strong communication & Stakeholder Management skills will be essential
