Senior Tester - Contract

3-4 months initially (to end June 2026)

£350-£400 per day Outside IR35

Edinburgh-Hybrid Working

Our Edinburgh based Financial Services / FinTech Client is currently seeking a Senior Tester Contractor to join their team on 3-4 month contract, through to end June 2026. The Contract has been assessed Outside IR35.

Well-known for their great working environment & culture, our Client is looking for an experienced Tester to join a current project focussed on a new Digital Service/Solution. To be successful in this Contract, my Client is seeking the following skills/experience:

  1. In-depth Testing knowledge with demonstrable knowledge in all aspects of Manual Testing (with any additional Automation and/or Performance Testing a very strong plus)
  2. Previous experience in the Financial Services / FinTech Sector (ideally Life & Pensions sector) with strong knowledge of typical systems, solutions, platforms and regulations in the sector
  3. A strong understanding of Web/Digital solutions/services and working closely with Development & Infrastructure Teams to deliver these solutions
  4. Familiarity with Agile ways of working
  5. Excellent communication skills with a strong attention to detail will be essential as always
