A new Project Manager contract role has arisen within our Glasgow based Financial Services client. The successful candidate will be joining a key programme which sits within Information Security and will be focused on developing and enhancing the Client's suite of Security technology. The programme is varied and focusses on areas such as Cloud Security, DLP, Endpoint Security, Keys & Certificates, Identity & Access Management, Network Protection, Operational Enhancements and SIEM.
Joining them on a 6-month initial contract, the role must be engaged via umbrella company. The role can be engaged remotely.
Our client is looking for the following key skills/experience:
*Demonstrable experience of delivering security projects
*Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methods
*Strong Project Management toolkit, including:
*Project planning and management, including budgets and resources,
*Managing teams and stakeholders,
*Good business acumen and technical understanding, with the ability to communicate technology challenges in business terms,
*Ensuring all governance, risks and regulated frameworks are adhered to throughout.
Experience with any of the following would be a bonus but are not essential:
*Understanding of disciplines within Information Security or Security Operations,
*Knowledge of vendor procurement and management,
*Working across all areas of the project lifecycle, including pre-project definition phases.
