Project Manager (Commercial Contracts, Harbour / Marine) needed for an initial 6 months engagement with our Travel & Logistics client based in the West of Scotland.

The right candidate must have demonstrable experience in Commercial contract negotiation & Procurement practices, alongside previous experience in Marine related Port or Harbour berthing / logistical practices.

We are looking for a Project Manager who can demonstrate proven ability to lead teams to deliver complex business change projects across a diverse environment; providing leadership to the project team by building and motivating team members to achieve their project goals. This successful applicant has the authority to run their assigned projects on a day to day basis ensuring the ownership for the full lifecycle of assigned projects ensuring that they produce the required deliverables of quality, to scope, to time and to budget.

Specific skills & Experience required:
- Previous experience working with Commercial Contracts, including commercial contract negotiation
- Prior experience working within Marine / Harbour / Port related businesses or environments
- Recognised project management qualification (PRINCE 2 etc) and business change experience
- Experience in managing stakeholders, risk and planning, including RAID logs.
- Set & continually manage project expectations
- Define, agree and report on the success criteria and disseminate to the involved parties throughout the project lifecycle
- Work with the PMO to build and prepare project estimates, define resource requirements and detailed project plans across all phases of assigned project ensuring the achievement of project objectives

This role will be remote to begin with but there is an expectation that, as Covid rules change, there will likely be a requirement for some onsite work, though this is still being discussed.
