Our Financial Services client has an opportunity for a Project Finance Analyst / Senior PMO Analyst to work within a wider PMO team supporting fast paste Digital & Customer Focused programme of work.
This contract is for initial 6 months, based remotely for the foreseeable future and client is engaging only via an FCA approved Umbrella Company.
The successful candidate will be mainly responsible for financial analysis and management. Tasks will include: analysing budget vs actuals, forecasts, supporting business case production, analysing resource cost (internal cost vs 3rd party cost), CapEx, financial reporting & MI, month end financial activities etc.
To be successful in this role and requirement, our Client is seeking candidates with the following knowledge & experience;
*Strong & proven experience working as a Project Finance Analyst in a similar Financial Services organisation / environment
*Detailed knowledge across the financial support landscape - financial analysis, budgets, forecasting, planning, financial modelling & a solid grasp of accountancy principles
*Demonstrable experience of the general PMO duties
*Excellent M.I and Financial Reporting skills & abilities with knowledge across relevant Financial software packages
*Proficiency with MS Office including Excel expertise
*Excellent people & communication skills with a high attention to detail
