I am currently recruiting 2 Programme Directors on behalf of my global Life and Pensions client in Edinburgh. This an exciting opportunity to work within a busy Change function, leading a number of complex business change programmes.

Reporting directly to the Change Director, you will lead the delivery of key programmes, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business to initiate and shape change activity. Developing relationships with third parties and internal partners, you will lead and drive initiatives through the change lifecycle to deliver strong commercial and customer centric outcomes.

In this role you will also:
- Continually develop knowledge of market and industry developments to help create a decision-making process based on insights and internal drivers.
- Work alongside the Change Director to ensure that the required capability is in place and/or developed.
- Support the Change Director to plan the annual cycle for change to ensure that change activity is prioritised, resourced, funded, supported, and managed accordingly.
- Use appropriate governance frameworks to effectively manage investment and cost approval.

Experience Required:
- Proven experience in leading large complex Business Change programmes.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry in particular Pensions, Investment and Wealth platforms and the regulatory side of the industry.
- Leadership experience having previously managed successful teams of Programme and Project Managers, including assisting in their professional development.
- Strategic thinking with strong decision-making capabilities.
- The ability to work across the business to gain buy in from wider stakeholders and overcome objections and mitigate challenges.
- Strong commercial acumen.
