Our client, a large financial services organisation based in Bristol, is looking for a Lead Project Manager to work on a Payments Programme for an initial 6 month contract.
The role sits within Core Banking & Payments in Commercial banking, where they focus on merchant servicing, looking at the services for commercial customers.
The role must be engaged via umbrella company and pays up-to £550 per day to umbrella.
Please note there may be the requirement to be on-site in Bristol for approx. 1 - 2 days per week as workshops will be required
The successful candidate will be supporting multiple projects within a larger Payments programme, including IT and systems projects as well as strategic and business-focused projects. You will work with stakeholders from the business, as well as IT Project Managers and Developers.
You will have:
* Proven experience of Senior / Lead Project Management from within financial services
* Strong business focused PM's with a good understanding of IT change and the ability to work with a range of business and IT partners.
* Payments background with demonstrable knowledge of Payments systems and processes - highly desirable
* End-to-end delivery experience
* Experience of working in an Agile environment is highly desirable
* Strong communication skills are essential, both written and verbal
