Head Resourcing are working with a forward-thinking facilities management company in Glasgow who are now looking for an IT Project Manager on a 6-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Head of Data and IT and supporting the Executive Team, you will lead IT related projects and activity and deliver day to day IT activity in this fast-paced working environment.

Key skills and responsibilities for the role include.

*Lead/support ongoing business IT related projects
*Communicate Business Priorities to relevant support departments to ensure that BAU IT Issues are resolved in a timely manner
*Deliver the IT Business Plan in context of Group IT Strategy, including plans for future business growth.
*Work with the Senior Leadership Team to identify and assess wider business opportunities, supporting their execution through the planning, development and delivery of effective IT solutions
*Build effective customer relationships, utilizing an in-depth technical knowledge of business requirements, to design and implement secure solutions to meet their needs, whilst protecting business assets
*Work with the Senior Leadership Team to understand reporting requirements and deliver efficient and effective Management Information
*Ensure alignment to group IT security standards and where relevant, further developing IT security standards, procedures, and guidelines for both new and existing systems / processes, introducing improvements as required
*Act as IT liaison between clients, consultants and the wider Group IT resource
*Act as point of contact/escalation for all IT related issues for the business
*Prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and act as business approver for all IT change requests impacting business processes or systems
*Manage IT Equipment orders
*Act as Business IT liaison for Projects as/when required

In order to be successful in the role, candidate's need

*Proven skills in project management, with experience of delivering end-to-end solutions
*Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities
*Comfortable working at a strategic, operational and tactical level, as part of the Senior Leadership Team
*Full end to end delivery of application systems, from requirement gathering and obtaining estimates to running workshops, UAT and implementation
*Experience delivering software related projects.
*Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, comfortable distilling complex issues into structured frameworks and tactical action plans
*Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to influence and challenge effectively at all levels, both internally and externally
*Proven experience in data analysis
*Experienced in using core IT systems (Excel, Access, PowerBI )
