A new IT Project Manager Contract has just been released by our well established public sector client. The initial contract will run until the end of current financial year with likely extension
Joining an existing team & portfolio of projects, the successful candidate is required to support the delivery of 2-3 IT driven Change Projects, e.g. *Managing the projects to implement single sign on for Agresso and the recruitment portal & system. Currency projects for .net, upgrading SQL, windows server including regression testing, working with the business. This project manager Will be asked to pick up other workstreams potentially but TBC. They will be applications work rather than infrastructure.
To be successful in this role & requirement, our Client is seeking candidates with the following knowledge & experience;
* Proven E-2-E Project Management knowledge & experience
* A strong track-record in delivering IT-driven Projects
* Formal Project Management certifications with knowledge of different PM methodologies - Waterfall & Agile etc
* Excellent people, communication, & inter-personal skills with strong Stakeholder & 3rd Party Management experience
* Any previous experience knowledge & experience of working on public sector or government would be beneficial but is not essential.
