Your new company are a non profit that has been created to ensure the roll-out and successful operation of Scotlands deposit return scheme.
This schemes aim is to to provide a more sustainable solution to single use bottles used by companies such as Coke, Pepsi, Lidl, Aldi and so on.
By acting as an administrator this company aims to reduce the waste of these companies single use bottles and vastly improve the recycling percentage.
What your new role entails
Your new role as a graduate technical analyst involves developing and maintaining the companies intranet system. The ideal candidate will have experience (at university or through self study) developing and personally maintaining these systems. The successful individual has to be a self starter and be happy working autonomously.
Additionally, working with some of the companies bespoke business systems will be required as will picking up a whole host of ad-hoc IT Support/IT supplier tasks.
This role is ideal for an individual who has a degree in computing and is looking for their first job in IT. Additionally, a candidate who is interested in sustainability and likes to challenge themselves is ideal for this role.
What you will get in return
The successful candidate will receive a salary of up to £25k
Hybrid work is supported, 3 days a week in the Glasgow office is required.
The job is Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours with no overtime or weekend work.
