Our Financial Services client are currently looking for an experienced and well-rounded Tester to join their Edinburgh based team.
This role is looking for someone who could be able to come to the Edinburgh office 1-2 days weekly (in line with Covid restrictions and only when safe to do so).
The successful candidate will be comfortable working across exploratory testing, manual, automated or a combination of both.
Responsibilities include:
*Testing systems in a service-based architecture.
*Automating tests at API level with some UI test automation on Angular clients.
*Knowledge of Gherkin/BDD
*You will have experience one of the following API Testing in .NET environment (C# in Visual Studio), UI Testing in a .NET environment (C#, Selenium in Visual Studio) or, API Testing using Postman (including scripting tests in JavaScript test module)
*Experience within the Asset Management/Investments sector would be highly advantageous
*Integrating testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
*Working closely with developers and test managers to build out testing capabilities in different areas with automated regression testing.
*Working closely in scrum teams with product owners, project managers, business analysts and developers throughout all agile ceremonies to analyse and develop user stories, design and execute tests, and add value to the product being delivered to the business.
Candidates will need to engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella Company.
