Joining and leading an existing team who are aiming to to migrate 750 servers into the Cloud by year end, initial Contracts will be for 6 months and rate card will pay up to £600 per day (via an Umbrella Company). The roles will be remotely based but there may be occasional office visits required.
To be successful, our Client is seeking a highly experienced Cloud Technical Delivery Manager with the following knowledge & experience;
* Proven experience working as a Technical Services Manager (or similar), supporting Cloud / Infrastructure / Storage services
* A strong background in Service Management, understanding ITIL and "Run" based roles etc
* Strong & proven experience working closely with 3rd Party / Offshore suppliers
* Strong technical knowledge & experience around Microsoft Azure, Automation tools such as Chef (ideally) and strong Storage knowledge - EMC, Unity, VX Rail etc
* Excellent people, communication & inter-personal skills with the ability to work with Stakeholders at all levels.
