Solution Architect with strong Networks, Security and Cloud experience needed for our Consultancy client for a project with a Financial Services organisation based in London. The role is predominantly remote, but candidates must be prepared, and able, to work 1 - 2 days per week onsite in London.
Our Consultancy client is looking for a strong Solution Architect with a combination of Network, Security and Cloud (Azure / AWS / GCP) expertise to come on board for an initial 6 months and work alongside a team within their end client, a Financial Services organisations. The right candidate must have demonstrable experience as a Solution Architect within Financial Services environments and have good knowledge of Network, Security & Cloud infrastructure, platforms and tools.
In addition to networks, cloud and network security experience, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to create high level designs and facilitate design sessions. The role will focus on linking different hosting environments together in a way that allows the application of a security policy across each platform equally, effectively and efficiently.
Previous experience in network bridging solutions, providing secure connections between multiple hosting locations, such as Aviatrix, Datadog, Amazon CloudWatch etc. would be highly advantageous.
Strong communication skills, good stakeholder management capabilities and a consultative approach are essential.
As mentioned, the role requires up to 1 or 2 days per week in central London and candidates must engage via an Umbrella company. The Umbrella rate for the role is up to £650 per day.
