Retail Systems Analyst
Up to £43,000 / Hybrid or Remote working / Edinburgh

Head Resourcing are delighted to be working with one of our Third Sector clients as they look to hire a Retail Systems Analyst. Our client is one of the largest member organisations in Scotland and are a charity focussed on the conservation of Scotland's unique and historic sites.

The successful candidate will provide technical ownership, support, and expertise of our client's retail systems. Working closely with key stakeholders in commercial enterprises, operations, customer and cause, and finance to manage the development, configuration, integration, and support of the environment. The post holder will be responsible for both the development and coordination of the day-to-day management of all functional areas that, together, make up the retail (EPOS) environment.

This role will own the relationship between our clients EPOS and retail back-office suppliers. Therefore, any experience of merchandising, stock management, and product hierarchies would be very advantageous.

Essential:
*Significant experience of managing EPOS and stock management systems within a retail and/or catering environment with a wide base of knowledge about the supporting ecosystem such as payment solutions, GRN, stocktakes, etc
*Working knowledge of retail back-office processes such as: buying, merchandising, allocations, promotions, and product hierarchies
*Experience of providing technical expertise in analytics and reporting, preferably using Power BI or similar reporting platform
*A high level of interpersonal and communication skills
*Competent user of Microsoft Office products including Excel

Desirable:
*Strong technical skills designing, documenting, supporting, and implementing retail database applications across multilocation businesses
*Previous experience in building, maintaining, and aligning systems to meet the requirements of specialist & non-specialist end users
*Multichannel / eCom integration experience
*ETL skills
*SQL scripting
*Knowledge of accounting practices
*Experience of documenting both technical and business processes
*Experience of supporting Cloud Applications

Remote interview and onboarding. This role can be Remote (office attendance once a quarter) or Hybrid (office attendance one day per week).
