Project Manager (IT Applications, Development, Agile) needed for an initial 6-month engagement with our technology client based in Edinburgh. This is a hybrid role and will require 2 -3 days per week on-site in Edinburgh.
The right candidate must have a background in Project Management including demonstrable experience leading & delivering Application Development and Software Engineering related projects within small and medium Agile environments, ideally within technology, science or research related organisations.
Working with multiple software and product teams you will provide project management planning, guidance and rigour to a number of small, predominantly software related, projects. Our client is looking for a friendly, engaging PM, well versed in Agile and working within Agile environments. this role would suit someone with experience in smaller, digital or software development focussed environments, excellent communications and a flexible approach.
Whilst the role is yet to be assessed, we are proceeding on the bases that this role will need to engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella company.
Essential skills:
- Demonstrable IT Project Management experience
- Software / Digital delivery related project management experience
- Familiarity with, and an understanding of Agile ways of working
- Experience working within small - medium sized organisations
- Excellent planning & organisational skills
- Excellent Communication skills
