Programme Director (Head of Method & Tooling) needed for an initial 3-month engagement with our Consultancy client in London. The role will involve 3-days per week onsite in London and requires a strong Programme Director level individual with extensive experience in transformation methodologies, standards and tooling within Financial Services environments.
Acting as a product owner for the client's Change Framework, Change Management Business Standard (CMBS), and associated transformation tools, this role will ensure that the client's transformation practice is modern, user-friendly, and supports consistent delivery excellence.
As a Senior resource within the Group Transformation team, you will be expected to have deep experience operating in Change & Transformation, with the key skills, knowledge and competencies in order to help their client maximise the value from Transformation across its Group transformation portfolio.
The role is Inside IR35 and is Hybrid with three days per week onsite in London.
Key Skills:
- Extensive demonstrable experience in Senior Transformation, PMO Leadership, Programme Director or methodology/tooling ownership roles.
- Deep understanding of portfolio, programme and change management methodologies.
- Experience in product ownership or stewardship of enterprise-wide standards and tooling.
- Ability to continuously evolve transformation methods and standards, ensuring alignment with industry best practice.
- Technical proficiency in PlanView, JIRA, Confluence, and dashboard tooling (Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with frameworks such as MSP, MoP, PRINCE2, P3O, SAFe or PMI.
- Proven success in embedding enterprise-level frameworks and tools in large organisations.
- Experience working in federated operating models with global or multi-market scope.
- Proven ability to translate complex governance and methodology requirements into user-friendly guidance.
- Excellent facilitation and engagement skills, able to convene and guide cross-functional user groups.
- Extensive Financial Services experience.
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills and a Consultative approach.
