Location - Remote (Occasional visit to Dundee office post Covid)
Salary - Up to £80k DOE
New opportunity has arisen for an experienced Principal DevOps Engineer to work for a business leading the way in the field of genealogy. This role would suit someone who is equally experienced dealing with on premise as cloud as current set up is on premise (.NET stack / SQL Server) with new microservices architecture of Kubernetes, NodeJS and Postgres. They are also actively investigating using AWS to scale their services. Your role in the DevOps team will be to provide technical leadership and drive technical improvement.
Key Skills -
*A broad knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Puppet, Ansible (or similar)
*Strong knowledge of Docker.
*Strong knowledge of Kubernetes configuration/management, (ideally on premise)
*Strong skills in at least one programming language, and a desire to pick up more, work is primarily in JavaScript but several other languages are in regular use.
