The purpose of the role is to assist the company by providing, managing and maintaining an efficient and effective information technology service for all elements of the business.

Main Duties:

Ensuring that all aspects of IT services meet the necessary health and safety requirements, complying with current legislation to maintain a safe working environment for employees.
Ensuring that networks, servers, telephony and associated services are available with full support and remaining secure from unauthorised access and protected from virus.
Building effective relationships with business leaders and IT partners through monthly reviews with senior leaders and 3rd party partner management.
Managing an agreed budget and to be a proactive and supportive member of the Finance, IT and Quality Team.
Develop and update the IT Strategy on an annual basis in consultation with senior leaders.
Continuously assessing the efficiency of all IT services with a view to optimise according to changing business requirements

Skills:

Experience in IT management, support and deployment
Good financial management skills to manage operational and capital spend budgets
First class communication skills - presentation, facilitation, verbal and written
Internal Partner Management expertise
Project management skills - experience of managing small teams, time and tasks
Excellent influencing and persuasion skills
Able to build successful relationships at all levels of the business
Experience coordinating 3rd party partners/vendors
Knowledgeable in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
Microsoft Certified / undertaking Microsoft Certified Professional Program
