Interim IT Manager / Lead (Windows Server, o365, SQL, ERP) needed urgently for our Manufacturing client in Ayr. Whilst the role will be predominantly remote, there will be a requirement for regular onsite visits so you will need to have your own transport and be able to access the local area easily.

The right candidate must have a background in IT support, including hands-on 3rd line support experience of Windows Server, Windows 10 & o365 environments combined with previous team leadership experience and experience of supporting manufacturing businesses ERP platforms, ideally across multiple sites.

Previous experience working within Manufacturing or FMCG environments is essential.

Technical skills that would be useful for the role include experience in Windows server 2019 & 2008, Windows 10, MS Office 365, MS Exchange, Active Directory, Azure AD, SQL Databases, ERP systems (ideally including Dynamics), Networking, routing & Security Gateways and ideally previous experience with Networked Manufacturing Machines.

Responsibilities will include:
- Managing provision and use of several peripheral and supporting systems.
- Management of maintenance services to ensure robust & consistent provision of IT services across the business, utilising external vendors where appropriate.
- Maintaining the business's communications network, including data, e-mail & voice.
- Provision of effective hardware & desktop support to users across the business, with many currently working from home.
- Provision of effective training in all key applications to facilitate staff performance in their roles.
- Work with management team to develop their understanding and effective use of the IT systems.
- Managing a small IT team of 2.
