Infrastructure Analyst

Head Resourcing is pleased to be working with our Edinburgh based financial services client as they look to hire a talented Infrastructure Engineer. Our client provides a range of outsourced investment services to private banks, advisory businesses, and wealth managers and have offices in both Edinburgh and Glasgow. This position will work with teams from across the organisation to achieve our clients' goals. The role involves supporting a range of IT services, including user endpoints, infrastructure, and network at support levels 1 and 2 resolving any problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IT support and manage IT services across our clients sites up to Level 2 support, escalating issues when required
- Device management and support (Desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones)
- Assist with lifecycle management of all IT equipment
- Work with the Security and Resilience Manager to control risks, security measures, and maintain patching processes
- Deployment and Support of Windows/Linux Server Environments
- Maintain and Support existing backup applications
Required Skills:
- Experience of IT support desk environment
- Microsoft Active Direcotry management
- Office365 administration experience
- Desktop Operating systems (Windows 10/11)
- Knowledge of backup implementation and management, Veeam preferred
- Knowledge of Patch Management
Nice to have:
- Understanding of Cyber Security
- Azure Administration
- Experience of virtualisation, VMWare preferred
