HRIS & Data Analyst (Tableau / Power BI / Excel) - Edinburgh - Permanent

Head Resourcing is currently recruiting for an experienced HRIS & Data Analyst to join our client in Edinburgh. Our client is a highly reputed boutique financial services organisation, they have an exceptional reputation as an employer and offer the opportunity to join a growing team in their HR function. You will be responsible for the development, analysis and production of insightful management information to support all aspects of the departments reporting requirements. You will also provide support for the department's HR technology and ensure the effective support and utilisation of the firm's online HR portal; this will include ensuring that the system, its data and day-to-day operations are managed effectively. The team interacts with departments across the entire business; performing data analysis and producing reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders, the ideal candidate will have an affinity with data and using it to tell an impactful story.

Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and insightful management information and reporting to support HR activity at all levels of the firm.
- Review, maintain and develop business processes utilising the HRIS to ensure that they are effective and that services are optimised.
- Review and maintain data held within the HRIS to ensure that it is complete, consistent and supports the firm's requirements. Perform regular audits of data and system to ensure standards and key functionality are maintained.
- Provide support for the HR Information Systems (HRIS) and provide effective solutions and service to end users within the HR department and across the business.
- Develop and maintain awareness of HR technology best practice and latest thinking
- Support day-to-day maintenance and testing of the firm's HRIS
- Provide training and guidance to colleagues in HR on relevant system developments.
- Support the effective maintenance of HR data, ensuring appropriate data security and data management measures are adhered to.

Essential:
- Experience of data analysis and reporting
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI and Tableau
- Demonstrable background working with Excel / VBA
- High level of numerical and technical competence
- Highly motivated in learning and developing new technologies.

Desirable:
- Background in Human Resources
- Experience of supporting HRIS system and recruitment portals
- Good understanding of HR business processes and appropriate synergies
- Database & SQL experience
