What

As we head into the second half of 2021, we are looking to hire someone to lead our IT function. This role will help us strengthen the role IT plays to enable our businesses perform. This role will be permanent.

Working across the Taranata Group, you will be the go-to leader across these areas for all IT related needs. You will have a small team and a set of valued third parties to ensure we provide the best service to our IT hungry businesses.

The role will:

*Ensure provision of an excellent IT service to support the needs of our business
*Undertake IT change to support the IT enablement of our businesses
*Understand the future of our business' IT tech
*Develop the capability within the team to ensure that there is adequate capability to reach future business goals.

We envisage your daily duties to include:

*Optimising business IT processes
*Monitoring IT efficiency
*Assessing, monitoring, and upgrading business systems and processes
*Liaising and managing vendors and 3rd parties
*IT security and governance
*Managing and developing the business IT team
*Stakeholder management


The role will engage with the leaders and their teams across our group., You will also have a small and talented team to help coach and grow.


You

Ideally you will have a passion for thinking outside the box, be a self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative. Helping you and your team plan, prioritise and meet deadlines.

You will be technically strong (we are dominantly a 365 shop, supported by key CRM and Finance systems). You will be comfortable with these and other technologies. With the ability to help us maximise the use and performance of them. You will be ready to lead your own small IT function. With a meticulous approach to completing work to a high standard and with great attention to customers and service, you will help us enable our business success through high performing IT solutions and services. You will help us be competitive in our markets by driving our automation and customer service agenda and growing the data insights from our assets. We need someone with a real flair for customer service. Building trust and resilience in our IT will be at the forefront of your mind. As it is a small team you will need to range from solutioning to technical lead to strategy development.


The technical knowledge needed for the role includes:

*IT management
*Microsoft 365 accreditations or good knowledge and understanding
*Infrastructure and application management skills in an SME environment
*Good technical knowledge of cloud platforms and technologies
*A minimum of 10 years of IT service delivery and change experience
*CRM system experience
*Experience with third party vendors


For this HoIT role, you should also possess the following leadership skills:

*Analytical thinking
*Excellent communication skills
*Strategic thinking


To be considered, you will ideally have a Computer Science or IT degree. More importantly you will have at least 10 years of experience in delivering IT service and change.
