Location: Remote with occasional office trips ( once every few weeks)
Salary: Up to £105,000 per annum + excellent benefits package
I am looking for a Head of Architecture and Engineering to join a fast paced, fast growing financial services company. You will have a broad remit across Technology & Engineering including potential headcount management, technology financials, assisting in project management and administrative management. This role reports into the Technical Delivery Director.
The duties of the role include:
- Managing a wider team of 10-15 people across engineering and architecture, providing leadership advice and coaching.
- Working with the Technology Business Management team, draft annual planning and periodic forecasting of resources, projects and services, hardware and software.
- Financial analysis and spend management for new and existing projects and Technology Funding Requests.
- Be the SME on all technology used by your team.
- Recruitment, transfers and terminations.
Skillset required:
- Demonstrable experience managing both internal and 3rd party services as a recipient
- Pro-active and pragmatic approach
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Solid stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Good communication skills oral and written to a senior audience
- Experience in managing, mentoring and educating staff
- Technical knowledge around JavaScript libraries, DevOps and cloud computing including AWS.
