Head Resourcing are pleased to be working with one of Scotland's biggest success stories as they look to hire a Data Solutions Architect. This role will form part of a brand-new team who will be tasked with designing and building a new PaaS offering in Azure. This role will work on a Hybrid basis, with occasional office days required in Glasgow.
In this role you will work collaboratively within our client's data team, working with data engineers, software developers and product managers to help define the shape of the data platform. As such, you will have experience as a Data Architect, or significant experience as a Data Engineer who is looking for the next step.
To succeed in this role you'll have experience designing, planning, and making decisions on which tools, patterns and processes are required to meet business needs. You'll have proven experience in the design and orchestration of data pipelines, measuring data quality, attributing meta-data, and ensuring data governance. You'll have expert SQL, data wrangling, and data modelling skills… although these may not be your day to day anymore.
We would like you to have:
*Experience as a Data Solution Architect or Engineer
*Experience with Azure Data solution tools
*Experience with Data Lake and Data Lake house approaches
*Azure Data Factory
*Azure Synapse / Data Warehouse or similar tooling
*Strong stakeholder management experience
