Head Resourcing is delighted to be working with one of our Third Sector clients as they look to hire a Data Analyst. This is a fixed term position for 12 months to take on a number of critical projects for our client and play a key role in investigating, understanding and documenting data lifecycles. The successful individual will be based out of our clients Edinburgh office, but will have significant working from home opportunities.
This role will be responsible for the analysis of data sources aligned with business requirements, the preparation of data extract methodologies, and the design and build of data storage solutions. The successful individual will be able to analyse data in line with our clients data retention policy and create data housekeeping processes to support the on-going management of data.
Requires skills:
*Proven background in Data Analytics
*Expert in Excel and Access
*Expert with any data visualisation tool
*Knowledge of ETL processes and tools
*Proficiency in query languages e.g., SQL, MySQL
*Excellent stakeholder management skills
Desirable Skills:
*A technical understanding of cloud environments (Azure)
*Knowledge of EPoS systems
