A large Edinburgh based Financial Services Client of ours is currently seeking 2 x Software Development Managers to join their projects on 6 month initial contracts (that look likely to extend). Paying up to £500 per day (potentially flexible) via an Umbrella Company, the roles will be Remotely based for the most part, our Client always has a sensible and pragmatic approach to Recruitment and seeks candidates with the following knowledge & experience:
To be successful in the Contract, our Client is seeking candidates with the following knowledge & experience;
* Demonstrable experience working directly as a Software Development Manager / Applications Development Manager / Engineering Manager, taking responsibility for developing/shaping/leading/managing the development & delivery of relevant applications utilised across the Business
* Strong experience in leading teams of Software / Application Developers
* Extensive knowledge across the full Software Development lifecycle
* A background in Financial Services - working in a similar capacity within other large & established Financial Services Clients/Projects
* Working closely with key partners, stakeholders and suppliers to ensure they're engaged in the delivery of services
* Excellent people, communication & Stakeholder Management skills will be essential as always
