The 2nd line Service Support Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting and maintaining our core SAP systems, which are customer facing applications. As such, you must have demonstrable experience in both 2nd line support roles and strong functional SAP skills in key areas such as FI, SD, CRM, SCM and APO.
You will provide 2nd Line Applications Support for the resolution of incidents and problems within agreed service commitments with full impact analysis undertaken to understand trends and business impact. You will also take ownership of and provide regular information about the status of complex problems to end users and suppliers to deliver a positive customer experience.
*2nd line support experience
*Strong functional SAP skills in key areas ie FI, SD, CRM, SCM, APO
*Excellent knowledge of EDI configuration / support
*Knowledge of ITIL processes
*ITIL Change Management
Strong communication and customer service skills are also essential and candidates must engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella company.
The role can be fully remote, though there is a preference for candidates to be willing to work the occasional day in Edinburgh.
