Job Title: Workplace Technology Engineer

Location: Edinburgh

Duration: 3-6 months

Circa £400-£500 per day (working via an Umbrella Company)

An Edinburgh-based Client, a household name to many, is currently seeking an experienced Workplace Technology Engineer to join their Service Delivery Technology Team. A key role in ensuring users are empowered with the latest Microsoft 365 tools and best practices, whilst also maintaining & evolving the digital workplace environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving user adoption, supporting modern workplace initiatives, and ensuring seamless integration of new Microsoft 365 features and services.

Operating as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and the Power Platform), knowledge & experience required should include:

  1. Previous experience in another Workplace Technology Engineer role (or similar), supporting Microsoft 365 applications in a corporate environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and end-user functionality.
  3. Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint Online customization is a very plus.
  4. Excellent communication, inter-personal and documentation skills.
  5. ITIL Foundation certification or experience in IT service management is desirable.

Our Client works a hybrid approach with regular (1-2 days) time spent onsite each week. As such, the preference is to find locally based candidates within easily commutable distance of their Edinburgh Office.
