A well-known and respected Edinburgh based Investment Management client is currently seeking an experienced Web Developer to join their team.
Joining them on a 6-month initial contract, the role must be engaged via umbrella company. 1-2 days per week in the Edinburgh based office will be expected.
Working within their Share Register Project, this role will be responsible for development of the existing Share Register application, but the role also spans the breadth of the software development lifecycle - from technical design to production release and support - in an Agile continuous development environment.
Essential skills include:
- Strong Web Development
- Technical Awareness
- C# / .NET
- Net MVC
- Entity Framework or a similar ORM
- Typescript/JavaScript
- HTML and SCSS/SASS/CSS
- RDBMS (ideally Oracle)
- Whole Application Lifecycle Involvement
- Agile methodologies e.g. Scrum or Kanban
- TFS / VSTS or equivalent CI / CD / ALM tooling
Experience of Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Distributed Systems, Angular would be desirable for this role.
