A well-known and respected Edinburgh Investment Management client is currently seeking 3 experienced and well-rounded Testers to join their Edinburgh based team.
Joining them on a 6 month initial contract, the role must be engaged via an FCSA accredited Umbrella Company. 1-2 days per week in the Edinburgh based office will be expected.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working across exploratory testing, manual, automated or a combination. They require someone who can assess the environment, decide on the best testing technique to use and be able to articulate this decision.
Responsibilities include:
*Testing systems in a service-based architecture.
*Automating tests at API level with some UI test automation on Angular clients.
*Knowledge of Gherkin/BDD
*You will have experience one of the following API Testing in .NET environment (C# in Visual Studio), UI Testing in a .NET environment (C#, Selenium in Visual Studio) or, API Testing using Postman (including scripting tests in JavaScript test module)
*Experience within the Asset Management/Investments sector would be highly advantageous
*Integrating testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
*Working closely with developers and test managers to build out testing capabilities in different areas with automated regression testing.
*Working closely in scrum teams with product owners, project managers, business analysts and developers throughout all agile ceremonies to analyse and develop user stories, design and execute tests, and add value to the product being delivered to the business.
