Systems Analyst / IT Analyst contract role has just arisen within a busy & active Financial Services client with the headquarters in Edinburgh, although role can be based mainly remotely.
Currently going through large amount of change our client has a clear growth strategy that focuses on the development of the organisations digital capability and adoption of Lean and Agile project delivery practices.
Initial contracts will be for 6 months, extensions are highly likely and rate-card will pay up to £500 per day to FCSA approved umbrella company (subject to previous skills / experience).
Our Client is seeking candidates to come in and complement the current team, adding technical emphasis to current capability. To be successful in this role candidates should have the following knowledge & experience;
* A strong & in-depth Systems Analysis / IT Analysis background and track-record, working with other large & established Financial Services Clients
* Strong analytical capability with the proven ability to elicit and manage requirements through the software development lifecycle
* Extensive background in requirements gathering (functional and non-functional), refinement of product backlog into Epics and User Stories, extensive experience writing user stories
* Demonstrable experience working in an Agile environment & iterative development project techniques
* 1st class people, communication & co-ordination skills - scheduling meetings/workshops, project communications and actions etc
