A large & established Financial Services Client in Edinburgh, a well known and leading Investments / Asset Management organisation, is currently seeking an experienced SQL Developer to join their team.
Joining the Data Workstream within their Platform Development area (IFA Platforms), one of the main duties will be to build database views in line with the client's BI Strategy. To be successful in this role, our Client is seeking candidates with the following knowledge & experience;
1) Extensive SQL Server knowledge with detailed knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
2) The ability to easily translate business requirements
3) Optimising large complicated SQL statements & debugging and performance tuning SQL Server queries
4) Additional Qlikview knowledge would be highly advantageous
5) Previous knowledge & experience within the Investments / Asset Management / Wealth management sector(s) would also be highly advantageous & will be prioritised where applicable
6) Excellent people, communication & inter-personal skills will be essential as always
