Software/Scrum Team Lead
Head Resourcing are looking for a scrum test lead for a market leading financial risk company. This company gives financial institutions the ability to manage, monitor and report on their financial risk profiles.
This role is based in Edinburgh around 1 day per week after an initial 2 months of training to get the new candidate up to speed. This role also does not offer sponsorship.
This companies success is built on their innovative and sophisticated FINTECH applications, and as part of their continued growth they are searching for a Scrum Team Lead to join the agile scrum team. Working closely with the Product Owner and leading the development team, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the team.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Helping the whole team apply the Scrum framework.
- Planning deliverables with the team and monitor performance.
- Resolving technical issues within the team that hinder their work.
- Managing the development team (two testers.)
- Working closely with the CTO to design, develop and deliver the technical and product roadmap.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and propose the use of new technologies within role scope.
- Experience mentoring developers on development methodologies and optimisation techniques.
- Passionate for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop innovative new ideas.
- Well-balanced analytical skills, able to confidently present technical information in a structured and logical manner.
- Identifying and implementing processes to improve the team's agile processes.
Skills & Experience
- Good experience working experience in a development environment.
- C#
- Strong SQL skills
- Azure DevOps
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Scrum framework.
- Experience working in Scrum/Agile
- Test driven development
Salary & Further Particulars
- A salary of £60 - £68k as well as the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive training and development scheme to help you to fulfil your role
