This position requires somebody who has previous experience of working with product teams as you will be responsible for setting the direction for the engineering team, ensuring that the software meets the Product Manager's requirements and that all artefacts are in line with high quality standards.
This is not a hands on development role, much more around getting the best out of a great team and as a leader, you will set the standards for the technical team and support them to achieve those high personal and technical standards.
Experience required:
*Leadership of team of engineers including motivating, appraising and mentoring
*Working as a part of a Product Team and collaborating with a Product Manager to scope and prioritise product increments
*Driving predictability and measuring success through data
*Cloud Architecture skills, preferably Azure but AWS/GCP will be considered also
*Cloud infrastructure understanding
*Kubernetes experience in a production environment
*Leading an engineering team in a Scrum/Kanban environment
