Service Desk Analyst
12-month FTC (potential to go permanent)

Head Resourcing are delighted to be working with one of our Third Sector clients as they look to hire a Service Desk Analyst. This is a fixed term position which will be largely office based in Edinburgh, providing first class customer service and IT support to our client's head office staff. The successful candidate for this role will have a good technical background and previous experience in IT support. In this role, you will have responsibility for investigating and resolving a wide range of technical issues both in person and remotely, so problem-solving skills are a must as well as a customer first approach.
Required skills:
- Previous experience in a 1st or 2nd line support position
- Key trouble shooting skills such as password resets, printer configurations, break-fix instruction, ticket routing and escalation
- Experience of troubleshooting Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Office 365 - One-drive, MFA and ideally SharePoint
- Experience of Active Directory - Users accounts and Groups
- An understanding of general network technology including WAN/LAN
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies
Desirable skills:
- Knowledge / experience of Microsoft Azure
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic organisation working within their service desk team. This role will require office-based working in Edinburgh (minimum of three days in the office), but interviews will be held via Microsoft teams.
