A new Senior Technical Project Manager requirement has just arisen with our Edinburgh based Financial Services Client. This high role will be supporting a high-profile programme of work managing Migration of applications to AWS Cloud. Taking responsibility for the end-to-end Migration to a new AWS Cloud Database, the successful candidate must have worked on a similar project/programme in the past and have demonstrable knowledge & experience of the Migration lifecycle.
Starting as soon as possible for a 6 month initial contract, the role for the time being will be based remotely, however there will be a requirement to be in the city centre Edinburgh office possibly 2 days per week when office based work resumes.
In order to be successful with this application, our Client requires the following skills/experience;
* A strong and proven Project Management background & track record within the Financial Services sector
* Demonstrable knowledge across the full PM lifecycle covering all aspects of initiation, planning and delivery
* An in-depth knowledge of high-profile Migration Projects (covering business & technical data migrations) with a proven knowledge & experience of go-live, cutovers, business readiness etc
* Experience of large scale business change/transformation projects
* Excellent Stakeholder Management abilities with previous experience working with multiple 3rd parties
* Strong communication, organisational and time management skills
* Exemplary attention to details with ability to produce high quality documentation and PowerPoint presentations
* The ability to guide, shape, lead and mentor
