Software Engineer C#.Net
We are currently working with a medical Technology client in Edinburgh who are open toa hybrid/ fully remote .net Software Engineer to join the team. This role will suit an established Engineer with either a short time in a Senior capacity or looking for the next move in their career into a senior role. As a commercially capable Software Engineer within the C# .net domain, you will be working on the live code base and with the team of 4 developing the main product.
The role will include developing features as well as assisting the support of integration of 3rd parties onto the platform so an understanding of Docker and Kubernetes will be very helpful.
The domain is highly regulated. Those who have worked in a regulated environment where testing and specific approach is key will be well suited to this role.
You will be responsible for working on several different projects as part of a multi-disciplined team, taking part in all aspects of the software lifecycle, with a focus on back end, and being part of all phases of development from inception to delivery and operation in the field. As a senior engineer in the team you will mentor and guide more junior members of the team and support the lead in setting and maintaining the technical standards all engineers hold themselves to.

Essential
* Software Development or Computer Science degree, or relevant experience
* Demonstrable programming experience using C# with ASP.NET
* Experience writing automated software tests
* Experience of object-oriented programming/design
* Refactoring Experience
* Familiar with agile software development
* Experience in delivering high quality software development projects
* Experience with Test Driven Development
* Experience with containerization
Desirable
* Experience of working within regulatory guidelines, such as ISO13485
* Knowledge of medical imaging and informatics, and associated IT systems (DICOM, HL7, FHIR)
* Significant commercial experience of C# and ASP.NET
* Experience with Functional Programming
