Head Resourcing is currently recruiting for an exceptionally talented Senior Software Engineer that is looking to work for an exciting start-up that is bringing a transformational product to the market. Our client is a customer-led business that is creating a tool that generates tangible value for all, supported by an executive team with a passion for helping people and a proven track record of creating successful online communities and digital ventures. They are recruiting the second member of their team developing their client-facing interface and secure digital vault - being responsible for working alongside their development partner with a view to bringing the development inhouse over the next six months. Initially you will work as a Senior Software Engineer then role will then move into more of a Team Leader role as they look to expand the team in early 2021; it is envisaged that when the team is fully inhouse that you will be contributing to architecture conversations and helping steer the future technical direction of the company and its products. The company is well-funded and has an exceptional executive team, they already have a strong pipeline of business and excellent c-level network. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with current delivery partners to understand the existing application deployment, tools and skillsets required to develop and deploy the application successfully
- Design, develop and deploy software using Microsoft Devops that is highly performant, scalable, and extensible
- Work closely with analysts and clients to transform requirements into functional, high-quality software features
- Build and maintain API integrations with external applications
- Maintain the platform infrastructure across all environments by developing in a test-driven manner whilst avoiding technical debt
- Participate in technology evaluations and play an active role in suggesting improvements based on technology trends, best practices, and industry standards
- As the team grows be responsible for hiring development talent and managing the development team; 1-2-1's, PDP's, objective setting etc.
Essential:
- C# / .Net, .NetCore / MVC
- JavaScript / JQuery / ES 6, 7, 8
- Experience developing highly integrated systems using REST and SOAP web services
- Experience working with SQL Relational Databases
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure
- Strong understanding of reactive, functional and object-oriented programming fundamentals and full software development lifecycle experience
- Flexible and self-driven team player assisting / mentoring members when required
Desirable:
- Degree in Computer Science
- MSDN qualifications
- Microsoft Devops and GIT
- Experience with developing, delivering and supporting software for Linux (or another UNIX) operating system
- Understanding of encryption and secure storage
- SignalR
