Senior Software Engineer
Location: Remote / London once fortnightly
Salary: up to £80,000 per annum + excellent benefits package
Job type: Permanent, full-time
I am looking for a senior software engineer to join a team of engineers within a modern financial services company. As part of the core engineering team you may be involved in the initial design phase and development groundwork for in-house developed applications, setting the standards, while ongoing delivery teams are formed and allocated. You may also on occasion be pulled in to help correct the course of projects that have deviated from our view of best practice, or to help get them over the line.
You will need experience with the following tech stack:
- Javascript / Typescript
- Node
- React
- AWS
Other necessary experience:
- Ability to take accountability for the quality of your own deliverables, shifting quality control left
and using automation to test quality throughout the SDLC.
- an understanding of the opportunities of cloud computing and how to use it well.
- a strong background in full-stack software engineering, in which you demonstrated an eagerness to expand your set of skills and learn new technologies.
