In a Senior Java Developer role, you will play a key part in the build and development of the organisation's new technology platform. Working as a Senior Developer you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring others, sharing your knowledge and skills with the team. You will also be working as a hands-on developer; you will ensure the quality of solutions through code and design reviews. You will also be an active member of the tech community within the business through sharing and collaborating to support the continuous improvement strategy.
Skills Required for the role:
The right candidate will have a strong background in Software Engineering and be someone who enjoys problem solving through collaboration and teamwork but can also self-manage their workload. Technically you will have experience in;
- Java 8
- Spring Frameworks
- Gradle or Maven
- RESTful API's
- Automation
- MySQL, SQL Server, Postgres

- AWS
- Terraforms
- Big data platforms
