Head Resourcing are proud to partnering with a leading hospitality brand based in Edinburgh to assist them in their search for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer. The role is for a talented BI professional to join our clients newly formed Data and Analytics team and will be based out of their Edinburgh head office with flexibility for remote working.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Business Intelligence and be comfortable working with a non-technical audience, ideally including training/coaching. This role is critical to the successful delivery of our clients data strategy and enabling data-driven decision making across the business. In this role the successful candidate will have full ownership of developing and maintaining end to end automated data pipelines, the translation of business requirements and supporting the delivery and periodic review of the organisations data strategy.
Required Skills:
*Highly proficient in Qlik Sense or another BI tool
*Thorough knowledge of SQL / Qlik scripting language
*Data Modelling experience and knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts
*Development and maintenance of Data Pipelines
*Ability to make process recommendations and assist with the management of data quality
*Excellent communication skills
