IT Security Engineer - Permanent - Edinburgh

As a Security Engineer, you will be working collaboratively with different teams to ensure a robust and original approach to IT security. Alongside working with a variety of technologies you will help mentor and coach more junior colleagues; whilst also having the opportunity to dedicate time at work to your own professional development.
Successful candidates will have:
* Previous experience within Security Operations Centre / SOC
* IT Security or IT/CS degree with security focus.
* Linux/Windows System administration exposure
* Exposure to concepts of software development.
* Experience of working collaboratively in a team environment
* Experience of approaching and breaking down complex tasks into deliverables.
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Python software development experience.
