Our client, a large financial organisation based in Leeds, is looking for a SAS Developer for an initial 4 month contract. The role must be engaged via umbrella company and the rate is up-to £455 per day to umbrella.

The successful candidate will be responsible for validating and testing data fed into MI systems and deliver downstream reporting as part of the onboarding of a new partners within General Insurance.

You will have:
*Proven experience of working as a SAS Developer, with strong technical SAS skills including SAS EG, Base SAS, Macro SAS and SQL.
*Experience of working with Oracle, SQL Server and DB2Cloud database technology
*Strong Analytical skills, able to scrutinise complex code and interrogate large datasets to come to logical conclusions
*Experience of gathering requirements
*Familiarity with EDI file format and/or developing new data warehousing platform
* Experience of creating and executing test scripts
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
