This role is for a technology risk assurance manager providing risk expertise into various key programmes in a Retail Banking environment. Specifically facing into a high profile outsourcing programme. A challenging role on a challenging piece of work, this requires someone with a technology risk background: IT risk, change related risk, experience of working on change programmes and experience of Programme Assurance (testing controls, record findings and reports, steering group meetings).
Remit
*Monitoring how the programme is being delivered in terms of ensuring traceability, design integrity, ensuring inherent technology risks and anything else being called out are being recognised, managed and tracked.
*Facilitating risk assessment workshops, ensuring all key stakeholders who may have a view
*Ensuring decisions are being made based on all the information available
*Working closely with other Risk and Audit teams
*Frequent exposure to a senior stakeholder group within the bank.
Person
*Someone diligent and thorough enough to challenge requirements, designs at stage-gate meetings
*Comfortable taking a robust approach; leaning into the programme in terms of updates, defending the Risk and Controls stance.
